On June 13, Chengdu Shuote Technology Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Dayi County Urban Management Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau, successfully conducted a high-fidelity comprehensive emergency drill for poisoning/asphyxiation and raw water leakage at the Dayi project site during the nation's 24th "Work Safety Month" campaign. This drill was designed to test the feasibility of emergency response plans through realistic simulations, strengthen cross-departmental coordination capabilities, and comprehensively enhance the project team's capacity to handle sudden incidents.

01 Drill Background: Simulating Dual Hazards, Testing Capabilities Through Realistic Scenarios
The drill simulated a hydrogen sulfide gas leak (simulated with smoke canisters) in the ultrafiltration workshop and a raw water pipeline rupture, with one worker rendered "unconscious." Upon discovering the hazard, patrol personnel immediately reported the situation. The project manager swiftly activated a Level II emergency response, with multiple teams coordinating rescue and containment operations.

02 Drill Highlights: Multi-Scenario Coordination, Full-Process Coverage
Rapid Response – The incident response team cordoned off the area with gas detectors, confirmed excessive hydrogen sulfide concentrations, and strictly barred non-rescue personnel from entering. The emergency rescue team donned positive-pressure air respirators and gas masks, entered the hazardous zone, and evacuated the "injured" individual to a safe area.

Scientific Rescue – The medical rescue team performed simulated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on-site, demonstrating casualty consciousness assessment, chest compressions, artificial respiration, and timely evacuation to hospital.
Containment Operations – The raw water leakage team simultaneously closed the main valve, built a flood barrier with sandbags, and activated emergency pumps to divert leaking wastewater, preventing secondary disasters.
Coordinated Command and Control – The overall commander simultaneously reported to the company's emergency office, coordinated 120 emergency medical services and material support, while the security team expanded the cordon to ensure unobstructed rescue access. Environmental monitoring personnel conducted real-time water quality testing, assessed the impact of the leak, and provided data support for subsequent recovery efforts.
03 Drill Summary: Improving Through Practice, Enhancing Intrinsic Safety
Drill Commander Zhang Xiaofeng, a leader from the Law Enforcement Bureau, delivered the closing summary, fully affirming the rapid response and standardized operations of all emergency teams, with particular recognition given to the professional CPR demonstration by the medical rescue team and the efficient emergency containment by the raw water leakage team. He also emphasized the need for further strengthening employee safety awareness and improving emergency preparedness at the project site, and strictly preventing all types of safety incidents.
04 Work Safety Month Actions: Everyone Is a Safety Guardian
As one of the company's series of activities during "Work Safety Month," this drill not only tested the practical applicability of the emergency response plan but also strengthened employees' emergency rescue skills through hands-on participation. Moving forward, the Dayi project will continue to conduct safety training and hazard inspections, consolidating the line of defense for work safety!
