A key milestone has been achieved for Dongguan Centralized Sludge Treatment & Disposal Project—the world’s largest independent sludge incineration project contracted by Chengdu SOTEC Co., Ltd. The core equipment for the zero-liquid discharge (ZLD) wastewater treatment section independently designed and manufactured by SOTEC has finished assembly and officially departed from its Xindu Production Base en route to Dongguan. This benchmark project marks the first domestic sludge disposal project equipped with full zero-liquid discharge wastewater treatment, serving as a powerful testament to the global competitiveness of China’s intelligently manufactured environmental protection equipment.

The shipped equipment embodies SOTEC’s dedication to high-standard intelligent manufacturing. All precision components and intelligent control systems have undergone rigorous quality inspection and simulated operating condition tests to guarantee efficient and stable operation upon commissioning at the Dongguan site. After being put into service, the system boasts a total treatment capacity of 2,000 tons per day (calculated based on sludge moisture content of 60%). It will drastically elevate the local capacity for sludge harmless treatment, volume reduction and resource recovery, acting as the "green powerhouse" of the Dongguan project and supporting Dongguan’s pursuit of a Zero-Waste City.

As a national high-tech enterprise, SOTEC consistently devotes itself to breakthroughs in environmental protection technologies. With business footprint expanding from the Sichuan-Chongqing base to the South China market, this project delivery demonstrates SOTEC’s cross-regional service capability and validates its integrated strengths covering technology R&D, equipment manufacturing and full-life-cycle technical services. SOTEC’s engineering team has already stationed on-site in Dongguan to arrange rapid installation upon equipment arrival in Guangdong Province. Comprehensive support for installation, commissioning and debugging will be provided to accelerate early project operation and full-capacity production.
