Perseverance Above 40℃, Care Beyond 100℃! SOTEC’s "Coolness Campaign" Reaches Frontline Project Sites

Amid the scorching summer heat, frontline employees have remained dedicated to their posts to ensure the safe and stable operation of the company’s projects. On July 24, Cui Honghua, Deputy General Manager and Chairman of the SOTEC Trade Union, led a team to visit Botong Technology (the company’s subsidiary), as well as the Jianyang and Anyue operational project sites. The team extended sincere care and greetings to frontline employees persevering under high-temperature conditions and delivered heat-relief supplies to the staff.

During the condolence visit, Mr. Cui personally presented well-prepared heat-relief packages to on-site employees, including cooling drinks and practical heatstroke prevention medicines. Each package embodied the company’s high attention to employees’ physical health and thoughtful care for every staff member.

"Thank you all for your hard work and dedication in this extreme heat!" Mr. Cui had cordial conversations with employees and made detailed inquiries about their workload, work and rest schedules, and the implementation status of heatstroke prevention and cooling measures. He delivered key instructions to project principals as follows:

1. Prioritize safety and value human life above all else

Employee life safety and physical health must be placed as the top priority. It is essential to scientifically arrange outdoor working hours, strictly implement operational regulations for high-temperature weather, and avoid working during extreme heat periods.

2. Ensure full support and effective protective measures

Adequate heat-relief materials must be guaranteed on-site, including sufficient cooling drinks and first-aid medicines. Ventilation conditions at work sites shall be optimized to create a relatively comfortable working environment for employees.

3. Focus on employee health and strengthen protection protocols

Close attention shall be paid to employees’ physical conditions. Efforts should be intensified to popularize high-temperature protection knowledge, enhance employees’ awareness of self-protection and emergency response capabilities, and strictly prevent heatstroke and other safety incidents.

Mr. Cui emphasized that frontline employees are the cornerstone and most valuable asset of the company’s development. He required all levels of management to fulfill their responsibilities earnestly, fully implement all heatstroke prevention and cooling measures, and ensure all employees spend the summer safely and securely.

Coolness refreshes the body, while warmth comforts the heart. SOTEC will continue to pay close attention to employees’ working environment and physical and mental health, improve logistical support services, and build a reliable "cool shelter" for frontline employees, enabling them to work with peace of mind and live in comfort.
