Sotec Technology Honored as a National "Little Giant" Enterprise for Specialization and Innovation

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the seventh batch of national "Little Giant" enterprises for specialization and innovation in 2025, and Chengdu Sotec Technology Co., Ltd. was successfully selected. This national-level honor is a high recognition of our technological strength and innovative achievements in the field of salt-based resource recovery water treatment. It marks our entry into the "national team" dedicated to promoting industrial foundation upgrading and modernizing industrial chains, and also lays a solid foundation for our participation in the new journey of green development during China's 15th Five-Year Plan period.

Our core competitiveness is rooted in our ability to solve industry challenges through innovative technologies, which has been validated by benchmark projects in multiple key fields. In the landfill leachate sector, we are the only company in China with both evaporative and non-evaporative process engineering cases. Our independently developed TLDR (Thermal & Low-temperature Distillation Resource) non-evaporative treatment technology for landfill leachate concentrate is a domestic first, effectively breaking through traditional technical bottlenecks.

The national selection of "Little Giant" enterprises for specialization and innovation is closely aligned with the four dimensions of "specialization, refinement, distinctiveness, and novelty." We have consistently focused on the niche field of high-difficulty water treatment, demonstrating professional depth and operational precision through our "carbon-neutral integrated water treatment solutions." Leveraging over 100 independent intellectual property rights, including high-pressure membrane technology, high-salinity water oxidation technology, and ultra-low temperature drying technology, we drive development through continuous innovation. By significantly improving water treatment efficiency and resource recovery rates, we provide clients with solutions that deliver both environmental and economic benefits, effectively supporting the green and low-carbon transformation of key national industries and consistently resonating with national development strategies.

As a national high-tech enterprise specializing in salt-based resource recovery water treatment, we always adhere to the philosophy of "committed to solving problems for our clients." We place high importance on industry-university-research collaboration and have established deep partnerships with Peking University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and other universities to ensure technological leadership. Notably, we have co-established the Low-Carbon Water Treatment Joint Laboratory with Peking University, focusing on difficult-to-treat wastewater technologies and advancing the vision of a zero-carbon economy.
