Sotec Technology's Summer Team-Building Event Concludes Successfully

On the morning of June 26, before the summer heat of Chengdu had fully risen, colleagues from Sotec Technology gathered downstairs at the company headquarters. With the lighthearted atmosphere that comes with the approaching weekend, they boarded the bus amid laughter and cheerful chatter, heading toward their destination — the Zhongjiashan Forest Trail in Longquanyi District.

After a forty-minute drive, the group arrived at the trailhead. The four-kilometer forest trail wound gently upward, mostly paved with alternating wooden planks and bluestone slabs, flanked by lush greenery and filled with the ceaseless chirping of cicadas and birds.

The group broke into small clusters and ascended the trail in stages. The first, second, and third observation platforms along the way each offered their own scenic views, but it was the fourth platform — "Sile · Qingtian" — that truly sparked excitement: a longer stretch with steeper steps that tested everyone's stamina and willpower. Many colleagues chose to push forward and take on the challenge of reaching the fourth platform.

As the elevation increased and breathing grew heavier, sweat quickly soaked through their clothes — yet no one backed down. They encouraged one another, looked out for each other, and laughter echoed through the forest all the way. The moment they reached the summit, a cool mountain breeze swept over them, and a vast expanse of verdant greenery unfolded before their eyes.

Around noon, the group settled into a farmhouse restaurant. A simple yet authentic local meal was served, and everyone gathered around the tables, sharing amusing stories from the hike and chatting about life beyond work. After a short rest following lunch, it was time for the much-anticipated activity — honey peach picking.

Stepping into the orchard, they were greeted by branches heavy with ripe fruit and the air filled with the sweet fragrance of peaches. Rolling up their sleeves, colleagues wandered among the trees, selecting their picks, snapping photos, and posing for group shots. One couldn't resist biting into a perfectly ripe peach on the spot — its juice bursting with sweetness. The Sotec Technology labor union provided each colleague with a fruit-purchase allowance, and everyone carefully selected, bagged, and weighed their haul, packing the taste of mountain summer to take home.

At 5:00 PM, the bus departed from Zhongjiashan. On the way back, colleagues leaned against the windows to rest, flipping through the day's photos or quietly chatting about their "spoils." This day had been filled with sweat, nature's bounty, and the unspoken warmth and camaraderie of the team.

A hike is not just exercise; a picking session is not just about tasting sweet fruit. To relax in nature and bond through teamwork — that was the heartfelt intention behind this event organized by Sotec Technology's labor union.
