June marks the 25th National Work Safety Month, themed "Everyone Prioritizes Safety, Everyone Responds to Emergencies — Identify and Rectify Risks and Hidden Dangers". To thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions and instructions on work safety, and earnestly implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, in response to the requirements of the Circular on Launching the 2026 National Work Safety Month Activities (No. 〔2026〕2 of the General Office of the Work Safety Committee of the State Council) issued by the General Office of the Work Safety Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of Emergency Management, Sotec Technology organized a diverse and comprehensive series of Work Safety Month activities from June 12 to July 23.

Centering on the theme "Everyone Prioritizes Safety, Everyone Responds to Emergencies — Identify and Rectify Risks and Hidden Dangers", the Company formulated a detailed activity plan. During the campaign, the Production Center, Operation & Maintenance Department projects, Zigong Jiuda, Suining Botong and other subsidiaries uniformly hung themed banners and posters featuring "Everyone is a Safety Officer" to foster a strong corporate safety culture. All project managers were required to organize staff to study the poster content and sign acknowledgment forms, embedding safety awareness deep in every employee’s mind.

The Company arranged all staff to watch work safety promotional videos. Employees of the Production Center, Operation & Maintenance Department, Zigong Jiuda, Suining Botong and Engineering Department attended centralized viewing sessions by department or project, while personnel from other departments completed learning via online platforms, ensuring full coverage of safety publicity and education.

A work safety knowledge contest was launched for all employees. Rewards were granted to participants with outstanding results and active engagement to boost enthusiasm for learning safety expertise. Meanwhile, departments and projects carried out hidden danger identification and rectification campaigns. Statistics were collected on safety hazards self-inspected and reported by each department from January to June 2026 together with rectification progress. Awards were presented to the top three departments, advancing the regular and institutionalized management of hidden danger investigation and rectification.

On July 21, the Company launched intensive training for operation supervisors at the full leachate disposal service project site of Jianyang Municipal Domestic Waste Treatment Plant. The four-day training covered a comprehensive flood prevention emergency drill, a confined space accident emergency drill, and capacity-building training for operation personnel, attended by project supervisors and core backbones.

The comprehensive flood prevention emergency drill simulated sudden heavy rainfall in Jianyang leading to on-site flood risks. The drill covered disaster early warning, equipment operation, emergency response, practical skill application, organizational coordination and administration. Four emergency teams — the Patrol Team, Support Team, Incident Response Team and Rescue Team — acted swiftly in accordance with the emergency plan, conducting water level monitoring, power switching, water pump drainage and sandbag barricading in an orderly manner. Xie Chunlong served as Chief Commander throughout the exercise, while He Huafeng coordinated overall deployment. After the drill, the Chief Commander pointed out that emergency generators should undergo regular trial runs to guarantee reliable operation in emergencies. He Jinsong, Director of Operation & Maintenance, emphasized that rescuers must first ensure their own personal safety during rescue operations.

The confined space accident emergency drill simulated an emergency scenario where a worker fainted from hydrogen sulfide poisoning while repairing pipelines in a semi-enclosed confined space. The drill focused on verifying accident reporting, rescue organization, incident handling and casualty assessment. All teams collaborated closely: the Patrol Team evacuated irrelevant personnel and set up warning barriers; the Incident Response Team entered the confined space wearing positive-pressure air respirators to carry out rescue operations; the Medical Rescue Team administered on-site cardiopulmonary resuscitation and oxygen supply; the Support Team guided the arrival of the 120 ambulance. The whole drill proceeded smoothly and efficiently, further verifying the feasibility of the Company’s emergency response plan.

Work safety is the lifeline of enterprise development. Sotec Technology will fully implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on work safety and the deployment of the 15th Five-Year Plan, promote the shift of safety governance toward proactive prevention, and make every effort to protect people’s lives and property. The Company will continuously uphold the philosophy that "Everyone Prioritizes Safety, Everyone Responds to Emergencies", improve the management system, strengthen hidden danger control, enhance emergency response capabilities, and consolidate a solid safety foundation for the high-quality development of the enterprise.
